Tranquility Nail Spa would like to ensure you that you are receiving the safest pedicuring service available. I have purchased a state of the art pedicuring whirlpool spa "The SpaMate Legend ", by AmeriSpa, with the Bio-Smart System. This spa offers an automatic disinfecting cycle with a Hospital Grade EPA. This means that after each client the spa is cleaned
and disinfected to protect against fungicide and virucide. This
system meets or exceeds all 50 states' regulations for cleaning and
disinfecting. These guidelines mean that the spa must be cleaned and
disinfected for EACH client. The spa jets are also 100% drained to ensure cleanliness.
The SpaMate Legend is an orthopedic designed chair for the ultimate in comfort. It is extra-wide for that "first class feeling". All material is made to clean and disinfect to protect you from harmful bacteria. The chair is equipped with shiatsu massage for those of you that enjoy massage during your pedicure. Water temperature is adjustable to maintain your personal comfort.
For your safety please do not shave your legs the day of your pedicure. If you shave you open your skin to unseen abrasions, which can result in bacteria entering these wounds during the pedicuring process.
We prefer to push back cuticles, and only cut those pieces that lift up. With regular pedicures you will find that cuticles eventually regress, and are no longer a real problem. Over-cutting cuticles opens the surface for infection, something we both do not want.
We only use a foot buffer to remove calluses. Blades are illegal to use in the State of Texas, and therefore
we are unable to keep one in my salon. If anyone uses a blade on your feet, they will be find $500 for the first offense, and $1000 for the second.
If at anytime something feels uncomfortable during your pedicure, please tell me.
Everyone's comfort level is different. Just remember, a pedicure should be a relaxing experience, never a painful
one. If you have not kept up with regular pedicures, it will take time to get your feet in great shape. You should try to have a pedicure at least once per month, preferably twice a month. Winter is the best time to be aggressive with your pedicures.
At Tranquility Nail Spa, I use only
Autoclaved instruments on each individual client.
Files and buffers that cannot be autoclaved are thrown away, or
given to that client for home use.
I wear medical grade gloves on each client to prevent any cross-contamination.

The winter months are rough on feet due to the weather, dryness, and the fact that we are constantly in our shoes. If you do your winter maintenance you will be very happy come the Spring Time and wearing your pretty sandals.
I look forward to meeting and exceeding your expectations with your pedicuring service. If at anytime you have a problem or suggestion, please let me know.
Together we can have your feet healthy and beautiful at the same time.
